Ranger Spike Lives
For a long while after factions was released, I belived Ritualist spammers had effectively nerfed the once mighty Ranger spike..that is until my guild held the Hall for six rounds on our first night with this build.

This build comes into it's own on alter maps-The stupidly good Apostasy makes taking enemy ghosts off the alter a breeze. Once there, attempt to spike down the other ghosts. If this fails, lay down fertile and try to stay out of the fight as much as possible. Even when your ghost is down, the fight is nowhere near over. The two Seeking Arrows Rangers can keep an enemy ghost locked down indefinately- on one occasion we held with our ghost dead since 1.45, simply because the opponents ignored the rangers and concentrated on our monks and the other team's hero.
So give it a try, I think you'll find R-Spike isn't dead yet.

fix some of those typos, like 7 characters, ward against melee on an R/X, etc.
Also, it's hard as hell to read... Shack FTW!

So he didnt put R/E...big deal. You can figure that out by the ward.
Nice build, ran into some seeking rangers the other night... interupted our ghost for 2 minutes.

No, I'm the guy who likes attributes, and at least bolded professions and skills on their own line so it's easy to look over a build and see how it all fits together.
Shack just makes it so easy to look over a build and already ge a chance to see al;l the nuances of the build.

good build for HA. if you can avoid good teams on the way to HoH I think it's holding and capping capability is very clear to see

hey all, one thing i'd like to point out about this build specifically is that we actually ran 1x r/rt ranger with consume soul and 2x r/e rangers. the fertile sapmmer actuallyonly had 14 in marksmanship and also was a pve ranger to swap hats and get a stronger spirit. consume soul saved us quite a bit in that halls run he was talking about, but it pretty much just leaves the rit spammer to just sit there and watch as you eat his spirit....and then spike him down^^
